On this day: Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Franz Stampfl’s birth

Today, November 18th, 2013, marks the 100th anniversary of Franz Stampfl’s birth.  To honour the occasion, the team here at “A Life Unexpected” are delighted to reveal our new trailer for the film, featuring some of our interviewees from our filming to date.

In addition to Sir Roger Bannister, Sir Christopher Chataway, Ulick O’Connor and members of the Stampfl family, you will also hear from John Landy, Ralph Doubell and Tim Lincoln (son of Merv Lincoln), among others.

We’re thrilled at the line-up of fascinating people we will be introducing to you over the coming months who have either been interviewed or are about to be interviewed by Director, Sally McLean for the film and hope you enjoy this teaser of what is to come.

  1. This is such an interesting story about a man I didn’t know about from my own country. I am very interested in seeing the final film. Are you broadcasting in Austria? I would think many of us here would find this film fascinating.
